With the slightly slubbed, handspun texture, this German angora rabbit yarn still keeps the warmth of the spinner's soul. This yarn is grown and spun by Lada Kirisenko - a famous spinner and weaver, on her angora rabbit farm - a member of International Association of German Angora Rabbit Breeders (IAGARB). The 'fluffy balls' are fed and groomed with lots of love resulting in a superb quality, healthy fiber. Since Long Fluff DK is spun from the long-staple fiber (long fluff), it develops a thick and fuzzy 'halo' similar to French varieties. A small content of Merino extrafine is added for strength of the yarn and long live of finished garments. Long Fluff DK is suitable for hand knitting, crochet, and felt.
