The best part is a light weight of this brushed-effect yarn. Usually such qualities are manufactured in chunky weights. Lana Gatto Merengue is double knit, and works great on 3.75-4mm needles. The construction of this fashionable yarn is very thoughtful, the tiny pieces of fluff of wool-alpaca blend is attached to a very strong tubular chinette core, so the yarn is very strong, lightweight, and has a beautiful brushed-effect self-striped texture.
